Marie André has sketched the portrait of five women among her closest friends and relatives, rejecting the traditional interviewstyle but instead, recording everyday gestures and monologues. She has stripped the narrative down to a series of essential images that are edited to convey both the personality of her characters and her own personal feelings towards them.
