Narcisse aux chiens

Marie André & 64' — 1997

When a film maker meets a poet, she and he put in place a common creation where the pictures and the words give the birth to a hybrid poetry, the film maker refusing to play the role of a journalist questionning her subject and the poet refusing to lend himself to any glorification. Togethern the film maker and the poet examine with pictures and words life which keeps on turning and writing which is created. They question the sky and the earth, the floor, the table, the city and the trees. « Narcisse aux chiens » recounts a few days in the life of the poet who can only speak of what he sees, smells and touches. In the city, the poet has his home. There he lives and writes. He writes while living and lives while writing. Everything is grist to his meal. In his home, he meets bread, fire, the trees and the gutters. In the city, he meets his friends, the streets, people and the river.
