For a long time the only woman in the group of the impressionists, Berthe Morisot was their centre and bond at a time when women were not admitted to the School of Fine Arts. The film is built up following the stages of my journey in a quest for her paintings and graphic work, her writings and the landscapes and houses where she lived and worked.
