Television often shows the images – symbol of Europe in Brussels – of the Berlaymont-building. But who knows that a few steps away lives a ward full of ideas and determination. And these are necessary when you are surrounded by buildings and that the Ministry of Public Works expropriated practically all the house, in order to destroy them. Expelled twice, the tenants have always refused to see their ward turned int concrete office buildings. Their desire is simply to go on living in their house. So they saved three blocks of houses, but future is still uncertain: they still can be driven away from their home in a month. The film presents some of these inhabitants in their daily life and action.
