Alain
de Halleux

Author-director, Born in Brussels, Alain de Halleux began his studies in Chemical Sciences (nuclear) at the UCL, then returned to the INSAS (Brussels) where he graduated in production. He started his career as a photographic reporter in Afghanistan, for which he received the Vocation Prize in 1983. His reportage is published in the USA, France, Germany, Australia, Italy and Holland. He then turns to documentary filmmaking, alerting on the dangers of nuclear power, financial systems, climate change. At the same time, he teaches aikido and cinema at HIECS, IAD and INRACI.
