Le grain de sable dans la machine

Alain de Halleux & 87' — 2020

COVID-19 has killed and endangered the global economy. But it is also ontologically a piece of genetic code, a message. If we take the time to decipher it, it also offers us the opportunity to understand where our steps have led us. In fact, it is the voice of SARS-CoV-2 that guides the story.

The virus :
“Who am I, who am at the limit of the living, to dare to address you, up there, at the top of what life has created most complex? So many orders of magnitude separate us. I am yours, what you are to our planet, in other words, not much.

I am nothing, not even a grain of sand, but this small grain of sand has seized your beautiful and great machine.

I am never more than a small piece of genetic code, a tiny and insignificant message. And I admit it, it will be easier for you to destroy me than to decipher me.
