In recent years, representatives of populations from Maghreb countries have demanded their participation in power. In Saint-Gilles, as in other Brussels municipalities, on the occasion of the municipal elections, some of them appear for the first time on the various lists of traditional parties, with their demands and expectations. From meeting to debate, questions arise about social cohesion and democracy.
