Conceived as a travel diary, the film is a journey through Europe, in an attempt to come across some thirty representations of Saint Sebastian’s martyrdom. The film is meant to be some kind of rite of passage, an imaginary report… imaginary because, since no original representation of this saint exists, the latter could be portrayed in any possible way.
