Through a sensitive portrait of Alberico, a former coal miner, who was forced to leave his home to sleep in the woods at pension age, the film revives the memory of a part of Belgium’s post-war history linked to Italian immigration.

Based on an anonymous medieval ballad, “Marianson” is a film essay about violence against women over the centuries. Through the evocation of a double crime of honor, the aim is to show and feel the recurrence – even the permanence – of this violence, but also how women, in solidarity with each other, face up to it.

Nos Errances traces the intersecting journeys of Clémentine Faïk-Nzuji, the first African professor at a Belgian university, and Véronique Clette-Gakuba, activist and sociologist. Through their stories, the documentary explores the wanderings of these two characters in an academic world marked by discrimination.
