Sophie Bruneau, anthropologist formation and filmmaker, has directed documentary films including « Dreaming under capitalism » (2017, DCP, Color, 63’), « Devil’s Rope » (2014, DCP, Color, 88’), « Ghost America » (2014, DCP, Color, 24’), « animal on est mal » (2014, DCP, Color, 12’), and codirected with Marc-Antoine Roudil, “Fishing on horseback” (1993, 35mm, B&W, 13’), “A country solicitor” (1999, 35mm, Color, 75’), “Trees” (2001, 35mm, Color, 50’), « They didn’t all die, but all of them were it » (2005, 35mm, Color, 80’), « My body is my degree » (2005, Beta Num, Color, 18’), « the land of utility » (2009, HDCam, Color, 112’), « Madame Jean » (2011, DCP, Color, 71’). She cofounded alter ego films, film production and distribution company based in Brussels.
