The lost mummy

Alexandre Wajnberg & 52' — 1999

On the site of Elkab, near Luksor in Egypt, a Belgian archeological team has discovered an impressive mastaba. Tons of sand are blocking the well leading to the funeral chamber of a very high-ranking dignitary of ancient Egypt. The tomb has been « protected » for many thousands of years. There are strong indications that the tomb and its treasures are intact. We were there to witness the opening of the grave.
