Filmaker Gérard Preszow was given carte blanche by Tournai’s community television station, No Télé, to shoot a film about the border region as defined by three French cities (Lille, Roubaix, Tourcoing) and three Belgian cities (Courtrai, Mouscron, Tournai). At a time when the rhetoric of a common european market monopolizes the debate, he wanted to hear other voices, the words of those « without a voice » who look for new landmarks in this era of intense transformation.
