Chris Vermorcken & 85' — 1985

The Hollywood Messenger is a sweet comedy, shot in « Cinéma Vérité », at Los Angeles. The story relates the meeting between Maritza Norman, an energetic little french lady, who lives in Hollywood since 30 years and who work as a courrier to the Stars in Hollywood, and Muriel, a young belgian cover-girl, age 22, who wishes to become an actress in Hollywood. The sharing of their daily adventures in Movie Land, their hopes and their dreams bring Maritza and Muriel close together. One day, in the waiting room of an agent’s office on Sunset Boulevard, Muriel meets Jim, a young actor, who seems to know everyone in town. Jim is charming and full of surprises. He drives very expensive cars and seems « in control »… Since his arrival, the story unfolds on the rythme of the meetings between the three personalities and their encounters with the people of the movie world in Hollywood.
