Ennahdha

Christophe Cotteret & 57' — 2014

Tunisia, end of October 2011. Ten months after the fall of Ben Ali, the constitutional elections bring Ennahdha, an Islamic party totally underrated by the international opinion, to lead Tunisia. 18 months later, in spring 2013, Ennahdha that failed to introduce the essential reformations and to infuse the air of the revolution to the country, will present itself once more in front of the voters. In the context of a violent social crisis and the increase of the power of salafist jihadism, this documentary is a political and historical autopsy, of an Islamic party anticipating to establish its authority on the future of Tunisia.
