Marie and Juliette left traditional teaching to open in the heart of Brussels the Petite Ecole, welcoming children who have never attended school, often in exile. They offer them space and time, away from formal academic learning processes, to be or become children again, before facing school institution which will expect from them to be pupils. As they endeavor and think their pedagogy, the film requires us to question school as a place perpetuating oppression for us all.
