For several years now, the Japanese government has been building complexes called ‘renewal housing estates’ in the heart of Fukushima Prefecture. More than a decade after the accident, this type of concrete neighbourhood is appearing in the still highly contaminated region, surrounded by wild and radioactive nature. This film provides an intimate portrait of the inhabitants of these places and gives a poetic reflection on the region.
