Charlotte Diament was born in Brussels in 1985. She grew up in a district of Brussels where a lot of immigrants lived. Her mother, a documentary filmmaker, and her father, concerned with social issues, gave her an awerness of politics and otherness. She studied Contemporary History and Performing Arts at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Concerned by the feminist question, she worked in 2009 in Maison de Femme. In the 2010s, she co-managed a neighborhood restaurant where she organized screenings and concerts. In 2019, she directed her first documentary, Les Héritières, produced by IOTA Production, CBA and RTBF.
