At the Bobos the « Mouth is everything », se has the power to kill, to make mad (crazy), she excites or calms the souls. But the mouth can’t give the secret of the masks, otherwise she would put in danger the village. It is by the blacksmith that the basic secret was brought to her knowledge: (the human sacrifice) which tranquilizes the people against the uncontrollable powers: as the dryness (aridity), the panthers or the bad spell thrown by a sorcerer. Next to this anxiety a crowd odd other mask manifest themselves: masks of policeman, masks odd matrimonial institutions, funeral masks, harvest date, etc… By this film we came close to the « animism » which is only a wish of close contact between the observation of the nature laws and the will of the people to recreate the universe which controls the group.
