After surviving the horrors of the Cambodian genocide of the late 70s, Sun Peau, a young widow of 23 years, fled his country and rebuilt a life in Belgium. Her son, intrigued by his mother’s past, returns with her to Cambodia to shoot the remaining traces of its history.
