San Pedro Mallo is a small village in Bierzo. Since 1936, a “missing person” has been resting in a secret grave. His exhumation provides the freedom to speak and, little by little, reveals a story both individual and collective, a story veiled by the nearly 40 years of Franco’s dictatorship.
