Karmann Ghia

Frédéric Sojcher & 8' — 1984

Karmann Ghia, a car from the sixties, is leaving the city… and soon will stop. It’s a breakdown. Arthur Lambert, carrying an empty jerrycan, crosses the fields of the deserted countryside in search of an habitation. He comes upon a car cemetery. There is no one around. Wait… over there, a woman’s arm can be seen emerging from a car. She is quite dead. Arthur escapes and little by little the unreal invades this story that repeats itself and yet is not the same.
