The film portrays Ahmet, a Turkish man who established himself in Belgium 18 years ago. Ahmet is married with Oliva. She is Spanish. Both cultures meet each other. She is catholic, he is muslim. Together they speak French for they do not understand each other’s language. They have adopted the Belgian way of living. Ahmet is a taxidriver and occasionally a singer. He has made a few records, all of them praising Brussels and Belgium. A certain way of considering life and communicate one’s enthusiasm and hopes.
