Every year, the carnival of Binche summons the townsfolk to celebrate the return of spring. Everyone in this small Belgian town knows that « being a Gille » is a privilege reserved for the men… but that it is impossible to do without the help of a woman. « Femmes de Gilles » tells the story behind the ancestral gestures these women perform from morning to night, to the rhythm of the clogs and drums.
