As the last survivors of the concentration camps fade away, so do the memories of their families. In Oswieçim, a small Polish town better known as Auschwitz, one might think that the relationship with history is part of everyday life. But how do subsequent generations relate to a history they didn’t live through? And what is the view of Julie, jewish granddaughter of two camp survivors, for whom history unfolds within family history?
