« Le bal des ombres » is a portrait of the unsung heroes of the cinema: the electricians. It is a tribute to those men whose ingenuity and tireless devotion make the cinema possible. It is also a film about light itself, that intangible component which is the very lifeblood of film and provides an insight into the way collaboration between directors, lighting cameramen and chief electricians can constantly improve the creative process.
