2005 marked an important stage in the life of the Atomium. Born with Expo 58, this building, which was supposed to last 6 months, is undergoing a major renovation 47 years later. The Atomium’s fascination for us has not waned. We look up and continue to dream. For a year, Marie-Françoise Plissart placed her camera in the heart of the Atomium to film its stripping down and reconstruction. A film as sensitive as an artist’s eye can be.
