Vania Leturcq

Born in Belgium in 1983, Vania Leturcq graduated from I.A.D. in directing and scriptwriting in 2004. She then worked as an assistant director on various french and belgian feature films.

As a filmmaker, she made two documentaries ( Eautre in 2004, Deuilleuses in 2007) and three short films (L. in 2006, L’été in 2009, La maison in 2011) that all won several prices in international festivals.

Her first feature film, L’Année Prochaine (Next Year) was released in 2015. It won the Zénith d’argent at the Festival des Films du Monde in Montréal, the jury price at Atlanta Film Festival, and was nominated for the Magritte du cinéma and Prix Lumières.

In 2020 she co-direct Pandore, a TV show written with Anne Coesens and Savina Dellicour, which will be broadcast in 2021.
