Thomas Licata is a documentary filmmaker born in La Louvière in 1993. After several years at university in Brussels and working as a social worker, he eventually joined INSAS to study film directing. In 2017, he made his first short film in China, where he came into contact with displaced communities. In 2020, he continued his project in China and developed a feature-length documentary, acclaimed by critics, blending science fiction and documentary filmmaking. He is still searching for his own path, drawing inspiration from new technologies and scientific advances that are transforming our relationship with the world.
