Sacha Kullberg was born in Amsterdam in 1966. During her years of study in visual arts (painting and photography) in Brussels she develops a deep interest for moving images. She works in the film world as decorator and propman, subsequently as assistant director, amongst others with Marc-Henry Wajnberg, Frans Buyens and Lydia Chagoll. At the same time she continues to develop her personnal work as photographer. A Philosophy of Closed Eyes – the Body as a Nature Reserve is her first feature documentary.
