Hachimiya was born in Dunkirk (France). She studied filmmaking at INSAS (a movie school in Brussels) and she was graduated in 2004. In 2008, she made her first short cut ‘Ylang Ylang Residence’ in Comoros Island. This film was screened at the International Critics’ Week in Cannes.
