Abraham Escobedo-Salas is a director, producer, cinematographer and editor. Twice nominated for the Mexican Film Academy’s Ariel Prize. Winner of the Sophia Student Prize awarded by the Portuguese Film Academy. Winner of the Youth State Award. Winner of the Erasmus Mundus and FONCA grants.
His first feature-length documentary Breaking la Vida, supported by IMCINE, premiered at GIFF 2022 and received an honorary mention and the Audience Award at the Zanate Film Festival.
