Lut Vandekeybus is a director, camera operator and film producer. In a diverse filmography, her observational documentaries stand out, exploring Moroccan family life in Bletzi Bletzi (1997), Mexico’s strict Mennonite community in Not All That ‘The World’ Does, Is Good for a Mennonite (1998), and a cross-cultural Qatari marriage in the award-winning Linda & Ali, Two Worlds within Four Walls (2005). Following a period making TV documentaries on current and social affairs in the Middle East, she has returned to creative documentary with Wim (2016) and a long-term project on Qatari society.
